Balustrades

Balustrades are a stylish way to finish off an internal staircase or exterior balcony, entrance way or patio area.

Typically they are made from 12mm clear toughened glass with polished edges. They can be tinted grey or bronze.

A more modern alternative for your stairway

Some customer projects we’ve done recently have been people removing timber spindles but leaving structural posts and a handrail. We then fix a glass balustrade between the structural timber posts using brushed chrome brackets. This provides a contemporary finish for internal stairways.

A stylish finish for exterior balconies and patios

Most other applications are external to create modern perimeters for balconies and sometimes in raised garden patios around decking. External balustrade projects tend to use stainless steel posts and handrails for fixing. We don’t supply or install the stainless steel systems, just the glass.
